On December 5th, 2019, Ufuk Tarhan, whom accepted as one of the world’s leading futurists by Google, shared valuable insights and information to better prepared for the future.
Bizim Toptan, one of the corporate members of LEAD Network Turkey hosted the event and Huseyin Balcı, General Manager, shared that they had increased blue-collar women workers by 76% and white-collar women workers by 41% since 2016. Balcı added that out of 136 employees, there are 8 women in the management position.
On 2019’s final breakfast meeting President Aysun Zaman mentioned the global LEAD Network Conference at her welcome speech.
Ufuk Tarhan, advised women to improve themselves in technology for ensuring employment in the future and for sustainability.
Tarhan said that the artificial intelligence, augmented reality, nano-technology in science, block chain in finance, genetics in medicine will all have a great impact on how the future and retail industry shape. Being invested in these technologies will give the necessary edge to go forward and upward and make a difference.
Tarhan gifted her signed book 25th edition of T-Human after the meeting to all the guests.
