As she could never get bored with studying, she started working at the school of marketing, Procter & Gamble. During 7 years, she learned how to read consumers behaviors and turn consumption into bright equations. She deepened her skills at Pepsico for 3 years, discovering how to unleash the power of emotions.
Yet, as her name indicates, “Well-Green”, Myriam has always wished that she could contribute more actively to protect the planet. This is why she decided to join Danone, a group well known for promoting a more sustainable development. She stayed there 14 years, becoming the global CMO of the Biscuits business, then General Manager in Ireland and in France.
Spotted as a “green activist”, she was then proposed by the executive committee to take the newly created “Nature Global General manager” role “to stop talking and start doing it for real”. So did she, cutting 2 Million tons of C02 in 4 years while also engaging brands into a serious transformation.
When she was then proposed by Mars to become the CEO of Mars Petcare & Food France, she could not resist joining this private company which aims at becoming the “most mutual company in the world”. Over the past 3 years, she contributed to putting the business back to strong sustainable growth while also reaching the 2nd Great Place To Work in France for the second year in a row.
Importantly, Myriam has always been a great supporter of the women’s cause. Not only because she has 3 daughters (and a female cat). This is also because Myriam truly believes that Bio-diversity at work drives company resilience. She is very proud of the perfect parity of the French Mars leading Team.
As of January 2017, Myriam is President, Mars Petcare Europe.
When she is not contributing to creating a better world, Myriam is peacefully writing novels at home, skiing down the slopes of the French Alps, or travelling around the world with her family.
