Elaine is the Global Chief Customer and Commercial Officer of The Coca-Cola Company. In this role she will support our global customer partners, develop commercial strategies and build customer capability in our global System. She brings with her over 25 years’ experience building and partnering with some of the world’s largest brands, top retailers and with our bottlers to drive revenue and create customer value.
Prior to assuming this role, Elaine was accountable for commercial leadership in our largest international business unit, covering 14 countries and 300 million consumers and $13 billion in revenue. Over her career, she held a variety of roles in commercial leadership with our global System and external partners, strategic shopper marketing and retail activation design, customer marketing and innovation. She began her career with The Kellogg Company in sales and sales management roles, including responsibility for the division’s entire foodservice broker network.
She has built expertise around digital disruption of our industry, and recently served as the Co-Chair of the inaugural World Economic Forum Future of Consumption Council, contributing to the CPG industry agenda at Davos. She also collaborated with the World Economic Forum to build the Global Shapers Community, a network of 7000 millennial entrepreneurs in over 150 countries. Her vision resulted in a global grant challenge that enabled these young leaders to accelerate social innovation projects across the world impacting over 23 million people.
She has helped foster women’s development at Coca-Cola and in the industry. She currently serves on the board of the Women’s Leadership Council of Cass Business School in London. As Vice President of the Coca-Cola women’s initiative, she led the establishment of field chapters, now totaling over 6000 associates globally. She is a member of LEAD and the Network of Executive Women and served as a Champion of NEW helping to grow Coca-Cola’s participation in this leading industry association targeted to female professionals in the CPG and retail industry.
She and her husband Garth currently reside in Atlanta.
