Lead Network 2016 Conference Committee

Tell us a bit about the Committee and the activities you’re involved in?
The LEAD Conference Committee has the mission to develop the theme and content of our annual networking event. The conference is in fact produced “by the members, for the members”. The committee is made up of LEAD members who volunteer their time to help us build the LEAD conference and everything that comes with putting on a high quality event.

What are the ways of working of the Conference Committee?
The Committee is made up of 10 volunteers. Each person takes care of a different task, from recruiting speakers, to building the content of the Innovation Workshop, finalising the line-up of breakout sessions, and taking care of delegates. Each and every detail is taken into account. We meet about once a month.

Do you have volunteer positions open at the moment?
Each year the composition of the Conference Committee changes depending on where the event is taking place. We will soon begin recruiting members for the 2017 Conference Committee.
